Mr. Newbury began his career at State Street Bank, eventually becoming Senior Vice President of the bank’s New England Commercial Banking Division. He then co-founded Newbury Piret & Company, a Boston-based investment banking firm specializing in private placement and mergers & acquisitions. As Chairman And CEO, Mr. Newbury grew the firm to 15 professionals. After spending 35 years in finance, Mr. Newbury joined Devco Products, a manufacturer of high-tech residential windows, as co-owner and CEO. He sold his interest in the company to a private equity firm, continuing as CEO until his resignation in 2008. Most recently, he served as CFO of BFS Pharma. Mr. Newbury earned his B.A. in Economics from Harvard University.
