Axiom was originally engaged to assist the second generation owner of a small Jacksonville, FL-based amusement machine operator (Travel Center Entertainment) to acquire its competitor, a much larger entity based in Atlanta, GA (Corey Entertainment).  Axiom negotiated the approximate $6 million acquisition price and financed it with a combination of buyer equity, seller financing and an SBA guaranteed bank loan.

One year following, Axiom was again engaged by TCE to negotiate and finance the acquisition of Virginia - based Truck Stop Games, LLC.  At the time, Truck Stop Games was the largest amusement machine operator in the country and Travel Center Entertainment’s closest competitor.  The $20 million acquisition was financed primarily with financing from a New York based hedge fund.  Axiom assisted in the integration plan post-closing and retained a seat on the combined companies’ Board of Directors.
